New Artists at The Gift Shop

Here at The Gift Shop the word has gotten out that this is not only a great place for choosing one-of-a-kind gifts, but also a great place for artists to present their work. This week we will look at the work of several of our newest artists: Sue Kimmen, Barbara Markham, and Michael Daitch.

Sue Kimmen (KIM) is a painter who has brought us lovely examples of the "Acrylic Flow" technique of painting. Below are just two of her colorful paintings.

Barbara Markham (MAR) is a member of the "Sisters of the Brush" artists group currently on exhibit in our main galleries. While her 2D work is part of the exhibit, she has also joined The Gift Shop. She has brought us colorful note cards, many with replicated images from her wall art on display. Below are just four examples of her cards.

Michael Daitch (DAI) is a master weaver. He has participated in previous Christmas Markets, and is a weaving instructor here at Anton Art Center. Now we have his hand woven scarves in The Gift Shop. These scarves are light and bright, made with silken threads and shimmering ribbons...perfect for Spring and Summer wear. Shown are two of his creations.
