This week we will look at the wood work of Raymond Flaugher, Sharon McDonnell, and Tenchi Wayner.
Raymond Flaugher made his living as a wood worker, cabinet maker, and finished carpenter. He now brings his expertise to his art pieces.

Sharon McDonnell has worked for over twenty five years at The Wood Shop. Her pieces are often functional, and always beautiful.

"Governor's Top Thirty Traveling Student Art Show" July 13-Aug.27. Showcasing thirty framed artworks selected for statewide travel from the Michigan Youth Arts Festival competition, displaying the finest artistic talent in high schools from across the state. Quite a few are from young artists here in Macomb County! Program by the Michigan Art Education Association.
"Survivor Art Quilts & Photography Exhibit" August 17- October 10. An exhibit featuring a collection of collaborative art quilts and youth photography and writing pairings shared by survivors of domestic and sexual assault. Presented by Turning Point of Macomb County.
