"Artist of the Month" for March

The Art Market "Artist of the Month" for March is multi-media artist Chris Pawlik. 

Chris Pawlik is a self-taught gourd artist. Her gourd ornaments are very popular at Holiday Market each year. Chris also creates lighted glass bottles, lighted jars and treasure boxes embellished with collage, paper clay and paint. Her work is imaginative and detailed. Each is a collector's item.

The Macomb County Annual Secondary Student Show is a county-wide student art exhibit featuring 298 selected artworks by 196 students grades 7 through 12. March 9 - April 13, 2024.

Valentine's Day is coming, and here at the Art Market we are all about Hearts!

"Artist of the Month" for February

Our Art Market "Artist of the Month" for February is glass artist Rick Shapero. 

Rick has been blowing glass for over 30 years. He enjoys the heat and the immediacy that comes with blowing glass. Originally from Detroit, Rick now lives in Cedarville. He makes decorative and functional hand-blown glass items including platters, sculptures, hanging ornaments, vases, goblets, and perfume bottles. His unique choices in color and design make each piece one of a kind.
