Holiday Market is divided into "rooms", each featuring its own unique gifts.

Very popular is the "Children's Room". here you can find clothing, soft toys, jewelry, decor, and even special soap for the children on your list.

The "Wow Corner" shows off gifts with that extra bit of pizazz.

The "Fiber Room" is where you will find hats, purses, woolen mittens, bright silk scarves, scented soap, and even comfy blankets.

SatARTday December 14, 6-8pm. A festive evening of caroling by "All the World's a Stage", and an open house. This is your chance for you and the family to sing along to your favorite Christmas carols! "All the World's a Stage" is an award winning theatre arts education organization. They believe that the arts are central to the educational, social, and aesthetic development of our children.
Come and sing your heart out, and be dazzled by Holiday Market.

Holiday Market is full of one-of-kind handmade gifts for everyone on your holiday gift list, including Christmas themed goodies. Take a look at what is in store in our "Christmas room", and our "Mini-tree Silent Auction.

Next..."Mini-tree Silent Auction" is always popular. This year we have 18 decorated trees. You can bid on your favorite or 'buy now' to take it home the same day.

December 8, noon to 5pm  Jingle Journey  This year we have expanded to five local spots rich with history and extended our hours so you can enjoy the various activities at each location:

-Enjoy take your-own photos with Santa, caroling, crafts, cookies, and silent film screenings at the Crocker House Museum (15 Union St, $4.00 adult, $2.00 children)
-A Holiday Express experience with story-telling, a personalized ticket, hot chocolate and cookies at the Michigan Transit Museum (200 Grand Ave, *free)
-Miracle on 34th Street screening at 4pm at the Emerald Theatre (31 N Walnut St, adults are $5 or ages 12 and under free)
-You’re also invited to see the operating HO scale 40’ x 40’ model train layout (*free) and enter to win your own HO operating train set at the Gratiot Valley Railroad Club (281 North Ave)
-Enjoy drop-in make-and take holiday crafts at the Anton Art Center (125 Macomb Pl,*free.) Be sure to visit the Anton Art Center’s Holiday Market to find gifts for everyone on your holiday gift list.

Holiday Market a success!

Holiday Market 2019 opened on November 15, and it is already a success! We are full of wonderful holiday one-of-a-kind gifts for anyone on your list, or for you! Shop handmade gifts and decor at Macomb County's premier holiday artist market!

A highlight of the Market this year is the one-woman show in our second floor Community Gallery. Judy Munro is showing her "New Studio Collection". These are brand new oil paintings seen by the public for the first time.

Judy's work has shown in numerous statewide juried shows and solo exhibitions. She is currently represented by eleven galleries in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and New Jersey. A prolific artist, her paintings are in private and public collections across the US and Canada.

Her cityscapes, landscapes, and flower/color fields are not to be missed.

Glass and Clay a Big part of The Gift Shop

There is something about glass and clay that is so compelling. Maybe because they are both organic, and can be so beautiful.
This week we will look at the work of our clay/glass artists, George Bochnig, Bob Gilchrist, Lisa Firth, Karen Murphy, and Darleen Bosman.

George Bochnig is a superb glass blower. His pieces are delicate, and shimmer with color.

Bob Gilchrist is an accomplished potter. He continues to experiment with clay and has created some large imaginative pieces. Even his mugs have a special flair.
