The word has gotten out that not only is The Gift Shop a great place to shop, but a great place for artists to show and sell their work!
This week we will look at the work of four
new artists who have joined us here at The Gift Shop: Patrick Dinunzio, Ilene Dinunzio, Julie Langensiepen, and Lyn Rushing.
Patrick Dinunzio (DIN) is a painter who also crafts intricate wall art from metal and wood, using laser and hand tools.

Ilene Dinunzio (DINU) is a jewelry artist. She makes her own colorful paper beads, then strings them along with beads and pendants into lovely necklaces, each one a generous 24" to 40"long. Shown are close-ups of just three of her necklaces.
Julie Langensiepen (LAN) has been in our Holiday Markets in the past, and now she is part of The Gift Shop. She fashions the most wonderful fabric Art Animals.

"Fish Bank" It really is a functional bank! |
Lyn Rushing (RUS) is a card maker, and each one is unique. She intricately collages each card to convey its personal message, both outside and inside!

Lyn's cards are each so rich with details! |
Come in and see the work of these, and all our creative artists!
(Remember, the letters in parentheses after each artist's name show their code. When you see that code on work in The Gift Shop, you will know who created it.)
Showing now at Anton Art Center: 2018 Biennial Macomb County K-6 Student Art Show through June 3, 2018. This show exhibits the artwork of our very own primary school students. Fun and inspiring! Watch the video created by Anton Art Center's own Greg Delauro...
