The Art Market "Artist of the Month" for June is glass artist Martha Millis.
According to Martha: "I have loved glass since I was a young girl. For the last 9 years I have concentrated on blown and fused glass art. I blow glass in a glass studio but create my fused glass in my home. Fused glass is formed by layering glass that is rated in the same coefficient of expansion and contraction. The glass pieces are then fired in a kiln to fuse them together. I love to work in bright colors that make me (and hopefully you) smile. My work is a creation of joy to share with others."
