More for Mothers Day

If you haven't made up your mind about what to give Mom for Mother's Day, we have more choices here at The Gift Shop. Our fiber artists have created lovely pieces Mom would love to have. The featured artists this week are: Wendy Kwiecinski, Linda Pussehl, Gail Sondaj, Mary Tassone, and Anita Wood. .

Wendy Kwiecinski is new to The Gift Shop and she has made a big splash with her fresh new ideas. One of her creations is a new take on the "Infinity" scarf. She fashions hers from T-shirt material and adds a flower of the same fabric.

More cards at The Gift Shop

Last week I shared some of the unique greeting card choices here at The Gift Shop. This week are even more examples of our cards. They are a gift in themselves when given to someone for a special occasion, or just to say "Hi". In addition, as we talked about last week, they are little pieces of art that you can frame and and fit in just about anywhere.
Our card artists this week are: Lin Viglione, Helena Kuttner-Giasson, Jennie Matuja, and Michael Robinson.

Lin Viglione is a sculptress and a photographer. Here are just two of her flower-photo cards. Aren't they beautiful?

Helena Kuttner-Giasson is one of our gifted painters. Here are two examples of her lovely bird cards.

Jennie Matuja is one of our favorite painters here at Anton Art Center. She has turned some of her work into greeting cards. Here are several examples.

We even have some "self-portraits" of our own Anton Art Center on cards created by Michael Robinson. Below is one of his photo-cards.

Our greeting cards are so special...to send, give as a gift, or framed as little pieces of art.

These are the last days to see "2016 Macomb County Annual Secondary Student Show" on display trough April 9.
