Creative wood artists at The Gift Shop

Here at The Gift shop we are lucky to have a number of artists who are adept at working with wood. Each piece is unique, from the choice of wood, patterns and finishes used, whether highly polished, or kept natural, up-cycled or exotic.
This week we will look at the wood work of Raymond Flaugher, Sharon McDonnell, and Tenchi Wayner.

Raymond Flaugher made his living as a wood worker, cabinet maker, and finished carpenter. He now brings his expertise to his art pieces.

This highly polished piece by Raymond Flaugher uses several different kinds of wood with intricate patterns

Sharon McDonnell has worked for over twenty five years at The Wood Shop. Her pieces are often functional, and always beautiful.
