Everyday it gets closer to the Holiday Market opening. I, for one, cannot wait! Join us on November 19 at 10am to start the season going!

"People in Plain Sight", a One-Woman Exhibition of original artwork by Janet Almstadt-Davidson.

"Having taught high school art for 30 years has helped me to appreciate all styles, subject matter, techniques and art materials. I show my work in competitions, group shows and solo shows. My work appears in many collections in the United States. I strive to provide art information through my art teaching and my art production."

Last Days to shop Art Market

This is it...the last two days to shop the Art Market before we close to begin the set-up of Holiday Market 2024. The Art Market and our current exhibits will close at 5pm on Wednesday October 16. The Art Market will be open during our "Reel Arts Film Festival" tonight!

Come see us before we close on October 16! The Anton Art Center will be open Tuesday through Saturday this week, 10am to 5pm each day. Art Market and exhibits close at 5pm on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

It includes selected artwork by members of the Lakeside Palette Club of St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens Art Association, Romeo Guild of Art, Shelby Township Fine Art Society, and the Warren Tri-County Fine Arts, Inc. Juried by Anita Bates.

"Michigan League of Handweavers: Biennial Fiber Arts Exhibition"  September 7 - October 16. This exhibit features selected fiber artworks by members of the Michigan League of Handweavers, juried by Susan Moran.

Join us at the 2nd Annual Reel Arts Film Festival on Wednesday, October 15th for a fun night out at the Anton Art Center! We will be screening selected locally produced short films with seating available in the first floor gallery at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm). Tickets are $5 at the door. The Art Market will also be open during the event. See you there!

Last Days to shop the Art Market

Where has the time gone??? We will soon be closing the Art Market to prepare for Holiday Market 2024! The last day to shop is Wednesday October 16, 10am to 5pm. Come in and get a head start on your Holiday gift purchases.

ArtParty 2024 is almost here! The theme for our 33rd ArtParty is "A Starry Night"! 

ArtParty is the main fundraiser for the Anton Art Center and is our chance to showcase Anton Art Center programs, share our mission and vision, and celebrate the impact of art in our community. This event is a celebration of the arts, a celebration of artists, and a celebration of the Anton Art Center. We have planned a fabulous evening for our guests with entertainment, strolling dinner with over 20 local restaurants and caterers, musical performance and art demonstrations, raffle prizes and art experiences. Proceeds from this fundraiser support the center's operations and community arts programming.

The Art Market Gift Shop, and exhibits will be open during ArtParty. Stop in and say "Hi!"
