Made in Michigan at The Gift Shop

The "Made in Michigan" fair is coming to downtown Mount Clemens on May 12 & 13.
Here at The Gift Shop we celebrate "made in Michigan" all year 'round with the works from our own Michigan artists. This week we feature the popular Michigan themed art from Michelle Teno, Gayle Krause, and Sharon McDonnell.

Michelle Teno (TENO) makes beautiful soaps and bee's wax candles featuring Michigan cities, festivals, and landmarks. . Michelle has 16 different soaps to offer...from the "Armada" apple soap, to "Petosky" stone soap, to "Tawas" roses soap. Pictured are three of her soaps and matching candles.

Gayle Krause (KRA) makes small clay hanging Michigan "mitts", decorated with rustic photos. The "mitts" range from 5" to 3" in size.

Sharon McDonnell (MCDO) has brought us wood pieces with the Michigan theme.

(Remember, the letters in parentheses after each artist's name show their code. When you see that code on work in The Gift Shop, you will know who created it.)
