"Here Comes the Sun!"  June 26 - August 17. Visit us in person or virtually online for a juried exhibition of artwork by members of the Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors. Juried by Richard B. Reeves.

The Detroit Society of Women Painters and Sculptors is one of the oldest self-sustaining women's art organizations in the United States, having been founded by Lillian Burk Meeser on February 23, 1903. Its mission since inception has been to quicken interest in art movements of the day, to stimulate high achievement, active work, and mutual helpfulness among members, and to provide encouragement and support for art students. 




The Anton Art Center is proud to present "Artistic Expressions"  July 24 - August 31. This exhibition consists of 44 selected artworks by 21 artists from the Shelby Township Fine Arts Society  (STFAS).  Their inaugural gallery exhibition is juried by Amy Foster.

The Shelby Township Fine Arts Society was founded in 2001. The purpose of the society is to promote, educate and encourage fine art through monthly meetings , workshops, exhibits and demonstrations.

Join the Anton Art Center in-person on Saturday, August 14 at 6pm, for our August SatARTday: Music and Dance! with a Hustle Class with old and young alumni of Mount Clemens High School. Featuring Denise Davis and the Motor City Sensations! This as a free event open to the public with live music and art activities for the kids! We'll be at Kennedy Park in Eastpointe so bring a lawn chair!

Coming Tuesday August 17 - Friday August 20, our second annual ArtCamp@Home is full of new projects with the Anton Art Center instructors for young artists to attend art camp on their own schedule with videos, live segments and free art kits.
