New Artists bring fiber, wood, and home decor to The Gift Shop

This week we look at our new fiber, wood, and home decor artists. All five come to us from Christmas Market 2015.

First is Wanda Nowak. She has been very successful creating and selling her brightly lit Christmas decor, now she has brought us decorated lamps for the home. The lamp pictured would be so cute in a child's room.

Next we have three fiber artists, each with their own special flair.

Wendy Kwiecinski has a very versatile line of purses, backpacks, and "One-Eyed Monster" badge pulls. All her pieces are created from re-purposed fabrics, and up-cycled items.

Linda Pussehl sews a lovely line of purses in several sizes. Many designs can be selected to make sets.

Here are several styles of purses from Linda Pusshl (PUS).

Linda Talbot has brought in her bright, imaginative fabric pins. Her three pins below have been fashioned from felt, buttons, and beads.

Victor Pone is a wood artist. His inlaid wooden trivets and bread boards are just beautiful.

(Remember, the letters in parentheses after each artist's name show their code. When you see that code on work in The Gift Shop, you will know who created it.)

The Anton Art Center Newsletter is now highlighting an "Artist of the Month", chosen from our Gift Shop artists. More recognition for the talented artists in our Gift Shop!
