Belle Isle at The Gift Shop

Most of us have good memories of times spent on Belle Isle. It is one of Detroit's most enchanting places. Some of our artists have captured the beauty of Belle Isle in photos and paintings. Those artists include: Roselyn Rhodes, Robert Mowry, and Winnie Chrzanowski.

Roselyn Rhodes has created a breezy summer feel with her Giclee print entitled "Little Red Bridge on Belle Isle".

Roselyn also offers this beautiful painting of one of the reflective pools on Belle Isle entitled "Willows on the Pond".

Robert Mowry has photographed many iconic scenes of Detroit. Here is his photo of the Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory on Belle Isle.

Winnie Chrzanowski is one of our favorite photographers. Here is her photo of a placid scene on Belle Isle.

(Remember, the letters in parentheses after each artist's name show their code. When you see that code on work in The Gift Shop, you will know who created it.)

Visit us soon, and take home your own memory of Belle Isle created by one of these talented artists.

Showing now is the Student & Faculty Exhibition 2016 . It is featured in the Community Gallery on the second floor of the Anton Art Center through Aug. 31st. The exhibit showcases the work of our instructors, and their students. Come and be inspired to take a class yourself!
